Producers Forum will be held on October 4-5, 2019 in Szeged and will gather cultural producers from many different fields such as festival organizers, cultural managers, translators, theatre producers… For two days they will get together and discuss different topics from their field with production experts.

Travel costs, food and accommodation for three nights (3rd, 4th and 5th of October) are paid for by the organizer.
Topics of the Producers Forum are ecological and economical sustainability of music festivals, ups and downs of promoting non-mainstream music in clubs, export and import of literary works: translation & promotion and advantages and disadvantages, blessings and hardships of hosting guest performances.
Some of the speakers are László Barnák (Szeged National Theater), Ákos Dominus (Sziget, Bánkitó), Attila Sirbik (Symposion magazine), Tamás Horváth, Dóri Oláh, László Vígi (Malomfesztivál, Wemsical Serbia) and Péter Zoltán Tóth (Jazz Kocsma). Final timetable of the event will be announced soon.

Producers forum is organized by Kép-Szín-Ház Foundation at their venue Grand Café.
Moreover, you’ll also have the chance to attend a theatrical performance in Szeged’s Old Synagogue and relevant music performances in Grand Café’s concert room. On the 4th there will be the opening performance of the Old Synagogue’s Fall Season managed by MASZK Association (another partner organization in the project) which will be followed by a concert of one of the most defining band of the Hungarian world music scene, Meszecsinka. On the 5th of October two of the resident DJ-s of Grand Café under the pseudonym AutoPSY will play you music from the genres of deep ethno, glitch and deep psy.
Producers Forum is part of the Interreg-IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Hungary-Serbia and project “Kaleidoscope of Contemporary Culture and Creative Industries” (K3CI), and it is made for cultural managers and producers from Serbia and Hungary! Main objective of this project is to strengthen cooperation between contemporary cultural and creative scenes of Hungary and Serbia by enhancing professional competencies, artistic production and transfer of knowledge. Partners of the project are Cinema City and Association Kulturanova from Novi Sad and Maszk Association and KÉP-SZÍN-HÁZ from Szeged.
