One of the most interesting female vocalists on the Serbian pop and rock scene Bojana Vunturišević started her career in the Belgrade band “Svi na pod”, where she spent ten years. During this time, the band released two studio albums, “Prvi!” in 2011 and “Mladost” in 2014, and Bojana Vunturišević signs several songs as a songwriter.
She started her solo career in 2017 at the beginning of the year when she released the single “Kese etikete”, which was the announcement of the debut album “Daljine”. As an issue of Mascom record label, this album captures the regional music scene. The song “Kese etikete” was a hit in 2017, the video for the song “Noćni program” carries the title of the best video, and the album “Daljine” was included by critics as one of three best albums in 2017.
In the meantime, with dance school “Dance Factory”, she founded the first dance choir and created a unique DFhor project. Namely, the performance of songs necessarily implies a specially prepared choreography. The choir’s repertoire consists of songs by contemporary regional performers such as Lollobrigida, Dječaci, Stray Dogg, Artan Lili.
During 2019, Bojana Vunturišević releases two singles “Promašaj” and “Full control” (cover of the eponymous song by the band Eyesburn), confirming that she is considered one of the most talented and charismatic Serbian authors for a reason.
